About the Role:The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and the Director, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients.
As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to create a care plan for each patient based on their physiological, psychosocial, and cultural diversity.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs by applying standards of practice as it relates to the specialty or patient population.
- Partners with patients and their family to develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care, treatments, and procedures that contribute to physiological and psychosocial outcomes of the patient.
- Incorporates evidence-based standards of practice and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team in care coordination.
- Facilitates safe patient transition to the next level of care as part of the plan of care.
- Accurately completes all required clinical and quality documentation consistently per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Program Graduate, Registered Nurse (Required)
- 1 year Staff Nurse experience (Preferred)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Department of Health Professions (Required)
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
