Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class B driver to join our team at Richards Building Supply Co. in Fort Wayne, IN. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to job sites and physically unloading material per customer request. This is a great opportunity for those with a passion for driving and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer request
  • Operate a semi-truck with Moffett and/or knuckleboom/crane experience
  • Load and unload trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries
  • Unloading shingles on one and two story homes
  • Move materials and items from receiving to designated areas
Requirements
  • CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class C driver's license
  • Moffett and/or knuckleboom operating experience strongly preferred
  • Box Truck experience desired
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Heavy Lifting experience
  • Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
