Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician to assist our veterinarians in exam rooms, perform laboratory procedures, and provide compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Veterinarians in Exam Rooms
    • Use veterinary software to document medical notes
  • Perform Laboratory Procedures
    • Obtain laboratory sample collection
    • Process and interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
  • Provide Patient Care
    • Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
    • Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)
    • Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients
    • Communicate with and educate clients
  • Support Surgical Procedures
    • Prep patients for and assist in surgery
    • Perform dental prophies

Requirements
