We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious baked goods that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery operations, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
- Be an Expert Baker: Develop and execute creative bakery designs, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, while following recipe measurement instructions and adhering to food safety standards.
- Be a Technological Innovator: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make informed business decisions.
- Be a Performance Driver: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact bakery volume.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interacting with associates to understand roadblocks and assisting in training, while developing, influencing, and inspiring them to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style.
