Retail Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist (Full or Part Time) to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and services.

• Patient Experience:
  • Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolve patient issues in a timely manner and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Operations:
  • Counsel patients and answer their questions regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, and contraindications.
  • Perform pharmacist tasks, including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• People & Performance Management:
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring and training.
  • Reinforce the direction of Pharmacy Manager in staff performance by coaching, and providing constructive feedback.

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
