As a vital member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Responsibilities- Provide morning and evening care to patients, including bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, and other general care as needed.
- Assist patients with meal preparation, serving, and removal of food trays, as well as feeding patients if necessary.
- Answer patient call lights, anticipate patient needs, and make rounds to assigned patients.
- Assist patients with handling personal property, such as dentures, glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, and prosthetic devices.
- Report and record any changes observed in patient condition or behavior, and unusual incidents.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures.
- Completion of a course for nursing assistants.
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- CPR/BCLS Certification.
- Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
