About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Will Call Clerk to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders for pick-up or delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Will Call orders from the warehouse with accuracy and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule receiving appointments with vendors for all inbound freight of the warehouse.
  • Prepare and update delivery appointment sheets daily for shipping and receiving.
  • Enter accurate data for shipping and receiving information.
  • Prepare in-bound documents, reports, and file/record maintenance.
  • Assign receiving doors for inbound carriers for the warehouse.
  • Enter Purchase Orders and verify all POs have been cleared by the end of the day.
  • Manage discrepancy reports.
  • Schedule all backhauls by coordinating with the Buying department and prepare weekly backhaul reports.
  • File out-of-stock and damage claims within the warehouse.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred 3 years' experience with warehouse and delivery procedures.
