Position Title: Senior Statistical Analyst (Contractor)
Location: Hybrid role based in Fort Washington, PA
Contract Duration: Initial engagement of 6-8 months, with potential for extension
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $100.00 per hour/W2
Role Summary:
- The Senior Statistical Analyst serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in non-clinical statistics for the Consumer division.
- Implement proven industry methodologies to effectively utilize mathematics and statistics.
- Collaborate with peers to deploy statistical, mathematical, and graphical techniques for innovation, development, validation, and support of drug product manufacturing and packaging processes.
- Facilitate advancements in mathematics, statistics, and computational sciences, ensuring alignment with industry trends through engagement with professional organizations.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the statistical capabilities across the supply chain, ensuring consistency and appropriateness in statistical software usage.
- Communicate scientific concepts, risk assessments, and logical arguments effectively to management and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to project teams by identifying suitable data collection instruments and ensuring robust statistical analysis.
- Develop innovative analysis strategies tailored for real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality and compliance across all operational actions.
- Participate in GMP training and adhere to established procedures.
- Demonstrate integrity and promptly address any deviations.
- Act as the primary global contact for statistical applications within the Consumer supply chain.
- Collaborate organization-wide to drive positive project outcomes.
- Design and implement training to elevate the statistical understanding of non-statisticians.
- Engage with external partners to manage workload effectively.
- Contribute to governance committees as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's or PhD in Statistics or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years, with at least 6 years in Statistics or related fields.
- Experience in applied non-clinical statistics for manufacturing, particularly with pharmaceutical products.
- Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based work with occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by business needs.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in statistical methods including ANOVA, regression, and experimental design.
- Familiarity with mixed effects modeling and multivariate analysis.
- Strong communication skills to articulate statistical significance and practical implications.
- Expertise in statistical software such as SAS, JMP, Minitab, or R, with a preference for Minitab.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and cGMPs.
- Proven ability to manage conflicts and drive results.
