Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Tech to join our Cath Lab Department at Starr Regional Medical Center. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong foundation in cardiovascular technology and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care given and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree: Preferred
  • Current certification for RCVT, RCIS, or RDCS certification or RDCS legibility in the State of Tennessee: Required
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
