About the Role

Munson Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Phlebotomy Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities.
  • Operate phlebotomy equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate and efficient sample collection.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
