About You:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Produce Team Members to achieve sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Drive Business Results: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a positive and personalized shopping experience, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage Inventory and Visual Merchandising: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of produce products, ensuring that they are fresh, visually appealing, and accurately priced.
  • Partner with Vendors: Build strong relationships with produce vendors to negotiate prices, ensure quality, and promote new products.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of the produce department, ensuring that it meets company standards and regulations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 6+ months of supervisory experience in a retail environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Experience with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and displaying products.
  • Vendor Relations: Ability to build strong relationships with vendors, negotiate prices, and promote new products.
