Job Title: LAC Specialist - Mental Health Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified LAC Specialist to join our team at Klamath Basin Behavioral Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide essential services to clients in need of mental health and substance use recovery. Your role will involve implementing treatment plans, maintaining a safe environment, and facilitating services under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and assist sobering and hold clients, ensuring their safety and well-being
Provide basic services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and coordinating follow-up services with mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) programs
Administer medications and perform basic nursing duties under the supervision of a LPN or RN
Collaborate with the treatment team to implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and provide therapeutic interventions as prescribed
Facilitate discharge processes for clients, including completing necessary paperwork and coordinating follow-up care

Requirements:

Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) certification
Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record
Personal auto insurance (if clients are transported or agency business is conducted with a personal vehicle)
