Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Carespring. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for managing the nursing schedule and daily flow sheets to ensure proper balance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the nursing schedule and daily flow sheets to promote proper balance and efficiency.
- Create a biweekly schedule with nursing leadership guidance to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Maintain accurate records of holiday, on-call, and MDS schedules.
- Receive and respond to calls-offs during working hours, directing them to nursing leadership as needed.
- Process personal request forms for vacations, leaves of absence, and changes in status.
- Assist new personnel with computer orientation as directed by the DON.
- Attend staff meetings monthly and professional nursing and departmental staff meetings on a PRN basis.
- Assist with the onboarding and hiring process.
- Monitor and document the completion of required 12-hour continuing education.
Requirements:
- STNA, LPN, or RN licensure in the state where the facility is located.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in the area of confrontation management.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain company policy and ensure fairness and consistency.
