We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing departmental goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements of the organization.
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management.
- Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets, and ensure that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth and integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of KY.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in emergency or intensive care nursing, with prior experience in management, charge, supervisor, or other leadership roles.
