We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician Hospitalist to join our team at Health Hospital in Tarboro, NC.
About the Role
- Employed by Health Physicians
- Part of a growing 9-hospital healthcare system
- Hospital privileges at Health Edgecombe Hospital
- Clinical responsibilities include Level II nursery and well newborn nursery, daily rounding, admissions, discharges, vent management and intubation, central line placement and thoracentesis
- 7 on 7 off Schedule - 7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week
- ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends
- Established team of 6 hospitalists
- Anticipated Volume is 15-20 patients
- Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC
- System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
