Job Summary:

The Porter is a vital member of our team at Gerber Collision & Glass, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our shop and office facilities. This role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the WOW plan consistently to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting countertops and work areas.
  • Ensure the daily housekeeping of the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, and placing tools and equipment in their proper location.
  • Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
  • Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
  • Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
  • Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma / GED preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Clear close vision required.
  • 18 years or age or older.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Strong attention to detail.
