Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Technician to join our team at Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. This role involves processing raw materials into finished polymeric materials using industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate pressure and non-pressure reactors, vacuum systems, distributed control systems (DCS), pumps, flow meters, condensers, and sensors in an OSHA PSM-covered environment.
  • Perform in-process and finished quality testing of raw materials and finished products using analytical lab equipment, including balances, ovens, titrators, gas chromatographs, viscometers, and microscopes.
  • Operate distillation equipment and handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste bulk transfers and hazardous bulk material transfers.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years chemical manufacturing experience.
  • Fork Truck Certification.
  • HAZMAT training (Hazwoper, etc.) or experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a generous earned bonus structure, merit increases, and annual bonus incentive plan.
