Accounting Internship Opportunity with One Gas

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented students to join our team as Accounting Interns. As an Accounting Intern with One Gas, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting and financial functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform entry-level activities related to accounting and financial functions, including data analysis and financial reporting.
  • Learn new technology tools and contribute to financial analysis supporting company decisions.
  • Prepare various journal entries, records, and reports related to accounting or finance to support month-end closing procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of applicable spreadsheet models and/or applications used in finance and accounting activities.
  • Provide metrics and other ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Requirements:
  • Prefer students who are projected to graduate in December 2025 or May 2026 with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Prefer students with a GPA of above 3.0 and involvement in extracurricular, community support activities, and leadership positions.
  • Prior work experience (internships, summer or part-time work while attending school, etc.) is also preferred.
