As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing individualized plans of care to help patients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, as directed by the occupational therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and caregivers to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and develop effective treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in in-service programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Graduation from an Occupational Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program.
- Current, unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
- Valid CPR certification.
