Part-Time Sales Associate

Position Overview:

As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with customers and provide information on ongoing promotions and product offerings.
  2. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our merchandise and assist customers in making informed choices.
  3. Stay informed about new arrivals and seasonal trends to effectively communicate with customers.
  4. Assist in receiving and organizing new inventory, ensuring products are displayed attractively on the sales floor.
  5. Maintain a well-stocked sales area by regularly replenishing merchandise.
  6. Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including all customer and staff areas.
  7. Utilize effective merchandising techniques to highlight new products and enhance the shopping experience.
  8. Handle daily banking tasks and ensure the cash register is adequately supplied with change.
  9. Manage customer returns, exchanges, and warranty claims with professionalism.
  10. Process special orders and manage product holds as required.
  11. Coordinate the timely shipment of transfers and online orders.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Prior experience in retail, sales, or hospitality is advantageous.
  3. Proficient with computers and familiar with point-of-sale systems.
  4. Possess a friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrate outstanding customer service abilities.
  6. Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 20 pounds.
  7. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
