As a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychological testing and evaluation, to diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention services.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting adherence to treatment plans and overall well-being.
- Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring the highest quality of care and services.
- PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families.
- Professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
