Position Summary

The Process Automation Lead will oversee all facets of the software development lifecycle, encompassing scoping, technical design, development, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of BPM and RPA applications for a worldwide user base. As an integral member of the IT team, you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders and developers to translate business process automation requirements into effective BPM process models and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive business requirements and implement solutions that enhance the automation of operational processes.
  2. Decompose requirements into actionable stories and tasks.
  3. Utilize agile methodologies effectively.
  4. Develop technical specifications, test execution plans, and comprehensive test cases to ensure end-to-end functionality.
  5. Possess hands-on development experience with business process improvements or re-engineering solutions utilizing BPM software.
  6. Exhibit experience working with global team members across various experience levels.
  7. Identify and assess implementation partners as necessary for projects.
  8. Manage both on-shore and off-shore resources involved in project execution.
  9. Diagnose and resolve production issues effectively.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills

  1. Minimum of 8 years of experience with IBM BPM, including over 4 years with IBM BPM 8.5.x versions.
  2. Proficient in requirements gathering, analysis, functional design, business process modeling, and automation flow development.
  3. Ability to create applications in IBM BPM PD, including workflows, human services, client-side HS, integration services, AJAX services, and coach views.
  4. Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and SOAP UI.
  5. Familiarity with querying relational databases such as Oracle 10g or higher, DB2, and SQL Server.
  6. Working knowledge of data transformation frameworks and technologies, including XML, XSD, and XSLT.
  7. Development experience in custom components or APIs for integrating IBM BPM/RPA with enterprise applications.
  8. Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JavaScript, HTML, Angular JS, and DOJO.
  9. Extensive background in user experience, UI design, and development.

Desired Skills

  1. Familiarity with RPA platforms like Automation Anywhere and UIPath.
  2. Experience in development and integration with IBM Datacap and Filenet (Document Management).
  3. Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 and IBM WebSphere.
  4. Experience in middleware SOA implementation technologies.
