Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a PRN Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures and providing diagnostic aid using fluoroscopic equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with procedures and provide diagnostic aid using fluoroscopic equipment
  • Prepare equipment, monitor inventory, and maintain cleanliness of procedure room and work area
  • Render patient care in a professional and courteous manner, explaining procedures to patients and performing physical assessments
  • Assist radiologists in administering medications and contrast agents intravenously
  • Maintain sterile technique during Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Review scans for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Ability to perform Interventional Procedures
  • Effective communication and management skills within a service line environment
  • Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
