Supply Chain Handler

We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Handler to join our team at CompX Security Products. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials from receipt to delivery, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt and processing of incoming shipments.
- Manage inventory levels through regular cycle counts and ERP transactions.
- Ensure accurate delivery of parts to various departments within the plant.
- Load and unload trucks, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Prepare parts for shipping to external vendors, including transactional and physical preparation.
- Ship and receive materials via courier services such as UPS and FedEx.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve logistical issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds may be required.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
- Must be able to operate powered equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and tuggers.
- Constant exposure to an indoor manufacturing environment.
- Regular standing and walking throughout the workday.
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Mandatory use of eye protection and safety shoes.
