Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join our team at Aerotek. As a Sanitation Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Comply with all safety and quality laws and regulations, including OSHA and FDA guidelines.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Empty waste containers and clean and disinfect various areas within the facility.
  • Assist in other production utility operator activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in industrial sanitation or janitorial work.
  • Experience in sanitation within food manufacturing is preferred.

Work Environment:

Aerotek is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with varying temperatures. The facility has both hot manufacturing operations and cold chocolate cooling/packaging operations. You must comply with all safety and hygiene requirements, including wearing uniforms, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety gear as necessary. The role involves standing and walking for prolonged periods, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and lifting in excess of 50 lbs. daily.
