We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Pharmacist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Critical Care Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients across our ICUs.
Responsibilities- Coordinate drug distribution activities, including supervision of pharmacy technicians and order verification of medication orders.
- Resolve medication-related problems and prepare parenteral products (IV admixtures, cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agents).
- Perform pharmacy clinical activities, including pharmacokinetic consults, monitoring targeted drugs, antimicrobial therapy recommendations, and evaluating appropriateness of drug therapy.
- Serve as a source of drug information to medical and nursing staffs.
- Perform patient care unit inspections to meet regulatory requirements.
- Pharmacist licensure.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Critical Care Residency Training and/or ICU Pharmacist experience is strongly preferred.
