Hamilton Mayer International is seeking a highly skilled Chief Estimator to lead the estimating team for our Tunneling Division.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and review estimating activities for tunneling projects
- Thoroughly review contract plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Supervise estimating personnel and ensure accurate pricing and bid preparation
- Identify major items in RFQs and RFPs, and solicit quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare HCSS comparison sheets and develop clear write-ups and documentation for proposals
- Price bid items and review with project team, and maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the bid process
- 10+ years of tunneling and heavy civil project experience
- 5+ years of estimating experience on tunneling projects
- 5+ years of team leadership/supervision in estimating
- Experience with HCSS, Primavera P6, Procore, or similar software
- Willingness to travel up to 15-20%
