Location Description:

Welcome to Willows Lodge, an idyllic escape just 30 minutes from Seattle in the charming setting of Woodinville, Washington. We offer 84 inviting guest rooms, 7 versatile meeting rooms, and a total of 5,000 sq ft of meeting space.

Our restaurant, Barking Frog, is a highly acclaimed Woodinville restaurant with innovative seasonal menus and an award-winning cellar of Northwest and global wines.

Overview:

As a Restaurant Server at Barking Frog, you will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our guests' experiences. Your responsibilities will include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages.

This individual will need to be quick on their feet and have an engaging attitude. We are looking for open availability and a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.

Your Role:

  • Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead
  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant
  • Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests
  • Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
  • Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Eligible for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance under our existing group plans
  • Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan
  • 11 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 40 hours each week

Qualifications:

  • Current WA State food handler's permit
  • Current WA State MAST permit (alcohol server's permit)
  • Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
  • Someone with 2-4 years of food service experience
  • Someone with advanced knowledge of food, wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Someone with excellent communication skills
  • Open schedule availability

Compensation Range:

The compensation for this position is $16.28/Hr. - $16.28/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
