Amentum is seeking a skilled Data Integration Engineer

Amentum is a dynamic and innovative company that requires a highly motivated and driven Data Integration Engineer to join our team. This is a remote-telework role that requires US Citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise data integration architectures to facilitate data communication, collection, storage, and management.
  • Utilize technologies such as API-based architecture, data flows, data lakes, SQL Serverless, and data warehouse processes to integrate internal and external data sources.
  • Focus on data integration between key business data sources, applications, services, and systems.
  • Oversight of API development, management, security, and orchestration within application-to-application integration and application to data warehouse environments.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data needs and deliver tailored data resources for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Optimize data integration processes for improved performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement data privacy and security measures in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies.
  • Document data integration processes, including data flow diagrams and data models, to ensure clarity and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience.
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience of several technologies/tools, including API-based Integration, API Management, File transfer Tools, REST/SOAP API, and Microsoft SQL.
