Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at AdventHealth Fish Memorial, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients recovering from surgery. This is a per diem position, offering flexibility and variety in your schedule.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care to patients in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.

Collaborate with the anesthesia team, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.

Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze patient data and make informed decisions about patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Surginet and Power chart, adhering to AdventHealth's standards and policies.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Science or Diploma graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Florida.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Minimum of one year critical care RN experience or previous PACU experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).

ACLS and PALS within 90 days.

PACU certification.
