About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Philanthropy Director to lead our fundraising efforts at Northern Illinois Food Bank. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of fundraisers
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the Food Bank at events and in the media

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in fundraising and donor solicitation
  • 5+ years of experience in management capacity
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in all areas of philanthropy, including grant writing, major gifts, planned giving, direct mail, cause marketing, and foundation and corporate fundraising
