JOB OVERVIEW

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

This position involves a 14/14 rotation with accommodations provided, including private lodging, meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), gym access, cafeteria services, laundry facilities, and parking for personal vehicles. Transportation is arranged from the Midland, TX airport to the lodging and back.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and coordinate I&E projects on-site, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of existing facilities within a designated area.
  • Act as a safety leader, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Direct all assigned project and maintenance activities to meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Planning & Scheduling teams to achieve project goals while minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Review and verify invoices, expenditures, and cost-control measures for assigned projects.
  • Provide training and conduct audits for contract personnel on established policies and procedures.
  • Accurately document daily activities in the shared drive or designated tracking systems.
  • Monitor daily costs and alert supervisors of any overspending exceeding 10%.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience in a 14/14 rotation with provided lodging.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field operations experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Knowledge and experience with SCADA and PLC systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Experience in I&E maintenance and project execution.
  • Ability to interpret P&IDs, ISOs, Plot Plans, and related documentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of field and construction operations.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Access, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, team-building, and personnel development skills.
