Job Summary:
The Residential Associate will be a vital member of our direct care team, providing support and services to adults with serious mental illness. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and promoting the overall well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions for clients
- Perform housekeeping and meal preparation duties
- Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed
Requirements:
- Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum three years of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in a residential or direct care role
- Valid Oregon driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
