Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of our adolescent patients are met.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting positive outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Participate in unit activities, including medication and education groups, to promote patient engagement and empowerment.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting concerns, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of six months in psychiatric nursing working with adolescents.
- Current BLS certification and successful completion of Handle With Care training.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, teaching, and management skills.
- Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications, and their correct administration.
