About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects in various locations throughout the bay area. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project success.
  • Manage aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, production tracking, cost control and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, including any changes or delays.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements throughout the construction process.
  • Mitigate risks by proactively identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Resolve conflicts or issues that arise during construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all project sites.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to maintain customer satisfaction.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in construction management and project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously and will possess excellent organizational and time management skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years in the construction industry (Combination of education and work experience acceptable).
  • Previous experience as a project manager in the construction industry is required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership abilities to coordinate teams and drive project success.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software for planning, scheduling, and tracking progress. (experience with Viewpoint & MS Project software a plus)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances or project requirements.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, priority setting, and decision-making abilities.
