Professional Nursing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Professional Nursing Coordinator in critical care and emergency services. This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse to coordinate and implement nursing care across various units, including adult and pediatric medical/surgical departments, critical care, and emergency services.
About the Role:This position requires a comprehensive assessment of patients, personalized care planning, and adherence to established protocols while promoting a healing environment. The successful candidate must be licensed in Tennessee and possess relevant certifications, demonstrating commitment to quality patient care and teamwork within a diverse healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:- Performs a comprehensive assessment on all patients within the appropriate time of admission utilizing skills of observation, communication, and examination;
- Plans the patient's care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems and attainable outcomes;
- Plans for patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge needs as appropriate for the patient population;
- Functions independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to areas evidenced by adherence to policy, procedure, and competency-based assessment and no pattern or trend of problem;
- Handles/transports/stores/prepares/administers medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures;
- Documents accurately and timely;
- Reassesses patient's condition, evaluates patient response, and modifies plan of care accordingly and in a timely manner;
- Accepts charge responsibilities and assigns staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirement, acuity, and complexity of patient's condition;
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university;
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee;
- BLS within 90 days of hire;
- Possess relevant certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC);
- Able to communicate in English verbally and legibly;
- Requires prolonged standing and working for up to twelve hours a day;
- Able to lift with assistance up to 250 lbs;
$65,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
