Join our team as a Pharmacist - PRN and contribute to excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction through daily operations within the hospital pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include ensuring daily operations meet customer and patient expectations, contributing to and developing pharmacy-specific policies and procedures, and participating on the interdisciplinary team. You will also be responsible for accurate interpretation of medication orders, compounding and dispensing medication preparations, and working with a variety of patient diagnoses, including stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, and more. Our patients are discharged directly home 80% of the time, and we use evidence-based practice guidelines to treat our patients. You will be paired with mentors and attend educational programs to help you become a better pharmacist. Our treatment team is made up of full-time therapists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and medical staff, providing a great opportunity to learn beyond your own discipline. We participate in a national outcomes database to continually analyze and improve our patient outcomes.
