Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Cath Lab team at Wesley Medical Center. As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate all nursing care for the department-specific patient population in accordance with the standards of nursing care and practice as defined by Wesley Medical Center and the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Support the organization's vision and mission.
  • Utilize knowledge of patients' age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
  • Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Current Kansas or multi-state Registered Nurse license.
