Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at Christus Health on a per diem basis.


About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and administering respiratory care therapies to patients with various respiratory issues. They will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide objective measurements and therapy interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen therapy, inhalation treatments, and ventilator management
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:
  • Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Manual dexterity to perform respiratory therapy procedures
  • Experience working with diverse patient age groups preferred
