Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS to join our team at UF Health-Central Florida. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for monitoring procedures, ensuring safe patient care, and functioning as a scrub assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies.
  • Ensure safe patient care and function as a scrub assistant.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • In lieu of the educational requirements, a minimum of five (5) years experience and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (required within 12 months of hire).
  • FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) OR FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred).
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
