Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Systems Educator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive training materials, including job aids and informational resources, to enhance the understanding of Oracle Financial applications across various departments.

Your role involves providing expert technical support and guidance to users of Oracle Financial systems, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instructor-led training content for both in-person and virtual learning environments.
  • Facilitate training sessions for different County departments, including Oracle Train-The-Trainer programs.
  • Review and enhance existing training programs to improve user engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
  • Assess the learning needs of end users and create tailored resources such as outlines, scripts, and simulations.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify skill gaps and develop blended training solutions.
  • Communicate updates regarding Oracle Financial modules and other relevant systems to all departments.
  • Document training attendance, performance metrics, and maintain all training-related correspondence.
Qualifications

Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Auditing, Business Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

A minimum of three years of relevant work experience is required.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in standard software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of training methodologies and practices.
  • Familiarity with security concepts and modern hardware/software architectures is advantageous.
  • Experience in program analysis, development, and testing is beneficial.

Note: Candidates with access to sensitive databases must pass a national fingerprint-based records check.

This position operates in a standard office environment.
