Job Title: Wound Ostomy Certified RN

Job Summary:

The Wound Ostomy Certified RN is a registered nurse who practices as a full partner on the healthcare team, consistently demonstrating safe practice within the organizational professional practice model. This role requires the nurse to possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude to effectively meet standards for competent professional nursing practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care through the application of the nursing process and accept accountability for the nursing care of assigned patients.
  • Work closely with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
  • Seek feedback in assuming leadership roles and provide feedback for improved clinical practice.
  • Comply with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Credentials:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Car Insurance (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • RN or RN-NJ (Required)
  • Cert Wound-Ostomy and Cont RN (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
  • Education Specialization: Nursing Equivalent Experience: • And 1+ years More than 15 months relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable
