Job Summary:

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient care services and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • PTA Certification for the state of TX
  • CPR Certification
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Home Health or Rehab experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
