Occupational Therapist Job Description

A dynamic and rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at ALOIS Healthcare. As a travel Occupational Therapist, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to fill a travel position in Cupertino, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat clients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to help them develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
