Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the financial future of InsideHigherEd. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that support our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
• Manage relationships with key financial partners, including banks, auditors, and investment advisors.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as experience in the media or publishing industry. A Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, along with a CPA designation.
