Job Summary
As a Long-Haul Driver with ArcBest, you will play a critical role in delivering cargo trailers to and from various long-distance destinations. Your responsibilities will include coupling and uncoupling trailers, driving for extended periods, and performing various tasks such as check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and pickup/delivery of cargo.

About the Role
This is an hourly position paid weekly, and your schedule may vary depending on Service Center location. You must have a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements, and no automatic restriction. A safe driving record and ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Coupling and uncoupling trailers from one another and from the tractor
* Driving for an extended period of time
* Performing various tasks ranging from check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and the pickup and delivery of cargo

Requirements
* High School Diploma / GED, required
* 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1-year experience may be eligible for training)
* Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements and no automatic restriction
* Minimum 21 years of age
* Good stable work record
* Safe driving record (from MVR and previous employment)
* Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
