Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled EMT to join our team at a dynamic recycling plant in Reading, PA. As an EMT, you will play a vital role in promoting health and safety within our industrial setting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular safety checks, providing health checkups, and managing employee cases to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety checks to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide health checkups and consultations to plant employees, addressing minor medical conditions and promoting overall well-being.
  • Manage and follow up on employee cases, ensuring timely return to work and providing ongoing support as needed.
  • Participate in safety programs, health fairs, and other initiatives to foster a positive and health-conscious culture.
Requirements
  • Valid state EMT licensure and current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and electronic medical records software.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly valued.
