Job Title: Qualified Professional I

Job Summary:

LIFE, Inc. - Washington is seeking a qualified and experienced Qualified Professional I to join our team. As a Qualified Professional I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advocacy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their rights and needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and education to staff on best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services field, such as sociology, psychology, social work, or human services.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ICF/IID regulations and best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
