Rigging Technician

We are seeking a skilled Rigging Technician to join our team at Entegee, a leading provider of custom automation projects and controls solutions. As a Rigging Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing overhead crane systems in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with overhead crane systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs at customer facilities, including steel mills and auto manufacturing plants
• Diagnose problems independently or as part of a crew and identify needed parts
• Communicate with customers, interface with the engineering department, and perform repairs
• Document hours worked, services performed, and write service acknowledgements
• Comply with NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection Requirements after training
• Conduct documented safety inspections per OSHA guidelines

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Eligible to work various shifts
• Minimum 3 years in an industrial environment or similar military experience
• Skills in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as an ironworker, millwright, or in facilities maintenance
• Motor control experience on systems with AC or DC power

Compensation: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
