About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Circulator in the Operating Room at Hopedale Medical Complex. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our OR and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a patient advocate before, during, and after surgery
  • Monitor and record patient vitals pre-operation
  • Prepare surgical tools and materials for the surgical team
  • Document every aspect of an operation, including tools used and patient information
  • Advise the surgical team on potential patient harm during surgery
  • Assist surgeons during procedures as needed
  • Escort patients to the recovery room post-operation
  • Clean the operating room post-operation
  • Account for all tools used during procedures
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
